If they would re-boot the OG Star Wars trilogy using these characters, they should make it like Mandalorian and have weekly episodes and multiple seasons so they can cover gaps in the stories that occurred between movies. I would love to see that.

Personally, I can’t imagine anyone better than what they ended up with. IMHO, there was a comradery there between those three that was never duplicated after the original trilogy (IV-VI), even when all the OG’s appeared in the “sequel” trilogy (VII-IX).

I would like to see relatively unknown actors cast in the roles for a multi-season show as @emptyclip suggested. I would prefer to see a new, whiny-teenager Luke, and a strong Leia (maybe the actress who played her in Kenobi will be old enough by the time this gets rolling). Alden Ehrenreich could play Han, for consistency’s sake. Part of the charm of the original movie (which I watched again on the big screen last night) is that the actors were relatively unknown. Maybe that wouldn’t fly so well today, and it’s what I’d like to see.
