I have recently deployed UC communications with an internal / external vmbg cluster. Phone system is a new CX 3300 and the Micollab server version is 8.0.2.101, client version 8.0.303. My mobile softphone deployments work flawlessly on most carriers except for Verizon. I have a 2 clients when on cellular data can receive internal calls all chat and presence work as expected but error out ( contact your administrator) on outbound calls to either internal or external numbers. 2 different Verizon markets 1 IPhone, One Android. 3rd problem is different. AT&T cellular network but home office internet is provided by Verizon FIOS. User connects to home network and the softphone won’t even register but works flawlessly on AT&T’s cellular network. I assume this could be just a firewall issue but the user hasn’t allowed me access to the home network to investigate. I’m working with a Mitel Partner but getting through to upper Mitel support is proving challenging. We are a BYOD shop and telling my users to get a different carier is not an option. I have pulled logs but I’m not sure which log to even start with to troubleshoot.

I’d recommend running the teleworker test from the trouble location to see what it tells you. It can be found from a download on the MBG/Micollab server. It’ll tell you what ports are open if you suspect a firewall issue.

Sorry for the delay.

How do I run the teleworker test from a phone? Hotspot a PC to it?
