I’m writing in as we’re facing an issue for one of our clients with the following error message:

We have attempted to list the structure where these files are contained as a trusted location with IP (not DNS/Server Name) for now however, this issue is outstanding alongside with issues being experienced where multiple users can’t access same sheet at the same time etc.

My query is as follows:

Would doing DNS/Server name for trusted locations possibly resolve this issue and what information/details should I have to fully investigate this issue alongside any other issues Access may be experiencing etc?

Further update: Trust Centre issues now seem fine for the most part just issues with having more than one user on the same access sheet.

In this instance the external software provider for this issue resolved this problem by recreating a lot of the data in use.

Here’s a URL that may be of assistance to others but this can be closed for now.

Right-click Microsoft Access in the Programs and Features window, then select Modify. Click the Repair button located in the Microsoft Access Setup box. Start Access in a private manner.
