It’s never good when you roll into work on a Monday, feeling as tired as you do when you roll out on a Friday. Other than coffee (and bacon) what do other spicers use (legally :->) to get themselves going?

Early morning run with the dogs, and a bit of a jog through Canary Wharf… Exercise gets the brain sparking nicely.
Other than that, black coffee, or a quick tidy of the bombsit… IT office.

Berocca does the trick for me, I get 6 ish hours sleep and yet after a berocca i can work my 8 hours no problem
Its orangey, not too bad tbf you get used to it

Might have to give it a go…
Wake up, take a shower, feed the goat, and coffee. I live in Maine, so the mornings are still quite brisk, which helps.

I get off the subway and walk two miles to work. This has a few benefits:
- It’s only ten minutes longer to walk than take the subway (which tells you a lot about mass transit in boston.ma.us)
- It has measurable good effects on my mood
- I’ve lost 7kg so far
Granted, some days it’s “Oh GOD two miles?” but about ten minutes in that goes away.
Glass of cold water works for me.

Must be contagious… slept like cr*p last night too. Used to be cigarettes about 10 years ago, now I’ve switched to my morning pot of black coffee (figure if I’m gonna have a vice, might as well be coffee). Problem with caffeine, is it’s like pouring gasoline a on fire to get it started, burns hot and fast for about 10 seconds, then goes out. By 2 pm I’m dragging again. Used to get in the habit of afternoon coffee, but I just would get in a vicious cycle of the afternoon coffee keeping me up all night and another pot of coffee in the AM. Try to lay off caffeine after about 1pm.
