Edit: PS. We did watch John Wick 4 finally. At the risk of getting kicked out of some sort of club… I was disappointed.

Anything on the schedule this weekend for you?

A - I’ve been watching that recent Quarterbacks (Netflix) series. It covers the 22 season for Kirk Cousins, Marcus Mariota, and Patrick Mahomes. Its a really cool look into the ins and outs of a football season and the home lives of an NFL QB. Super interesting and probably the main thing I will be watching if I do watch anything this weekend.

Will be seeing Oppenheimer tomorrow afternoon with my dad and uncle. I think HBO released a new season of Warrior too so I’ll have to get caught up on that at some point.

I don’t think you’re wrong on JW4, I thought it was the weakest of the bunch (I think the third one might be my favorite). It felt bloated and the scene in the roundabout might have been my least favorite scene in any John Wick movie ever (they’ve always seemed to me to rely way more on practical effects and well choreographed stunts so seeing such a CG heavy action scene was a total bummer).

I’ve been fascinated of late with shoutfactory streams. They have a pretty good library that they make available on demand, will sell you dvd/blu, but also have channels by genre/show that stream 24/7, seems pretty random. I like the cult and scream channels. A lot of hard to find oddball stuff on there, old and newer. Pretty good quality, no logins required, does have commercials. https://shoutfactorytvlive.com/

I’ve been re-watching the original Justified, after watching the first 2 episodes of Justified City Primeval, I like the new one, but the original I like better.

I need to start watching Westworld, heard it’s good.

The first season of Westworld is fantastic. After that it very much becomes a YMMV show. I found season 2 to be incredibly boring and stopped watching the show about halfway through.

The good news is the first season is pretty much a self contained narrative so it’s real easy to only watch that before moving on to a different show.
