Hello Everyone,

I run a small IT business in Upstate NY and we are looking into Labtec, Max Remote Managment and N-able. We are trying to find a solution that will enable us to monitor customers remotely and easily. We would like to provide to our customers a proactive IT solution.

Frankly, I am not too impressed with any of these services. Each has their pros and cons, but all of them have had issues.

Could someone please recommend a solid cloud-based RMM? One last thing, our customers use Sophos AV, one of the issues I have had were that Sophos would conflict with the agent.

We are in Upstate NY too. MaxFocus (previously GFIMax) is a great product to use.

Max doesn’t seem as robust as Labtec, but the interface is certainly more intuitive. The only issues is that I have not yet been able to successfully deploy an agent. I am not sure why. Thank you for your input.

Deploying the agent hasn’t been an issues. And the MAX focus support has been great if you need them.

Agree’d on their support. They should be able to help you with your deployment issues, their agent packaging is pretty straight forward

We use Continuum. Their agent is super easy to deploy, and their support is fantastic! Plus they offer several other products that we are utilizing like their Service Desk (helpdesk), BDR & File Sync & Share. Would recommend to anyone looking for a RMM partner!

+1 for GFI/Max focus

Good platform and support. Agent is lightweight and barely noticeable. I would definitely look into the deployment issues as support should be able to resolve
