I have 5 networked locations.
The bulk of my workstations are in one location where our data center lives.
I have one remote location with it’s own server that I count on as my backup for Domain Control and Active Directory replication.
The other remote sites log into our network via a non-public WAN.
IP Addresses at each location are 10.xx.xx.xx with the 3rd octet range assigned to us by a central authority. Each location has it’s own distinct 3rd octed range and each device can be quickly located geographically by that number.
I can scan my devices with Spiceworks just fine on the IP range I am using with Spiceworks installed on my workstation. But I cannot see any devices outside my location.
I have gone into Settings and entered each range of IP addresses to be scanned and provided the admin name and password to use. What am I missing?

You seem to have quite a configuration there, are you sure the spiceworks install is on the same subnet? How are they connected?

Can you ping the other devices from the spiceworks server?

akp982,
I have Spiceworks installed on my workstation, I am the network admin. I can ping and manage and remote into any PC at any location. I can do so using either IP address or resolved names.
Since my post, I’ve turned on WOL and upped the frequency and priority of scans in order to try speeding things up a little. I am still not getting info on remote PCs.
A good example of what I need to get is a report on all software installed on all PCs.
Thanks for the reply.

Sorry I didn’t reply sooner, I must have unchecked the email notify option.
I have resolved this simply by following directions I should have already read.
