My USB ports devices are NOT recognized when plugged in directly to the laptop ports. However when I plug in a hub to the same port and then the device to the hub it works. This is driving me crazy,

The laptop has 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. You could try updating the BIOS and there are October 2023 updates. Make sure that the update refers to your laptop before proceeding. \nI said that the keyboard work just for the port 2 but the port 1 not the laptop doesn’t recognize the keyboard on the first port,
