Hi guys,

Currently, we only have 5 nec IP phones in our company. I wanted to buy more IP phones for our reservations department but I’m not sure if it will work once I plug it in. I checked our webpro and it says that we have a license for ip phones. Need your advise.

You have enough licenses, but there is no guarantee the phone will just work when you plug it in. That depends on how the the system was configured. Most likely the station and voicemail will need to get programmed.

All NEC system are connected to a reseller. Do you know who you bought the system from? I would contact them first.

{"@type":"Person
bsvec
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/bsvec"}},{"@type":"Answer

Thanks for the reply sir, I’m having hard time communicating with them as they always say yes on the phone but won’t reply on my email. What configuration specifically? If you don’t mind.

{"@type":"Person
spiceuser-60ok8
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/spiceuser-60ok8"}},{"@type":"Answer
