NEC Univerge 3C VOIP Solution

I am in the midst of selecting a new Enterprise VOIP system. Anyone able to provide feedback on NEC’s Univerge 3C solution is greatly appreciated.

I have a Gartner Report that compares all the UC systems and NEC Univerge is one of them if you want to look at it. It’s pretty detailed. PM your email and I’ll send it to you.

My experience with NEC is remotely managing a Univerge SV8100. I hate it. Designed by phone engineers who wanted to obfuscate everything, plus there are some features that have to be done on the local handsets, which I can’t do remotely. I want to kick whoever bought that system.

If you’re looking at VOIP check out some of the Asterisk solutions. More features, stable system, typically easier to manage and more flexible.
