Hello all.

So I’m testing out the network monitor and I’m really enjoying it so far. However, what I’m wondering about is if there’s an easier way to disable most of the email alerts only? Like, if I want to see the on screen alerts and only get emails for specifics, right now I have to go into each device and change the settings there? It’s a bit annoying if we have a lot of devices.

On the top right side there is a menu item called settings. You can toggle the email settings off and on there.

For some reason I thought that was that alert not just email. So I take it that setting overrides the individual item setting? Cause the individual device setting didn’t change after I unchecked those. Just don’t want to get spammed with emails when this is mostly going to be a monitor showing results.

In the view there is an envelope beside the toggle which usually means email alerts.

Hi Derek,

The settings page has toggles that are for email alerts only. If you toggle a monitor off on the settings page, it will disable emails for that monitor for all devices.

If you want to turn the email alert off for certain monitors on certain devices, you can visit those devices in the devices tab, and click on the Actions button, then click on Edit Device Monitors and then toggle off the email alerts you don’t want.

The global setting will override the per device setting, but it won’t change the appearance of the per device setting. That’s on our plate of things to work on going forward.

Just how I thought it would work so happy to get confirmation. Will post there next time but so far, liking the program.
