Just upgraded NM to latest version 1.3 Was working correctly prior to this.

Now it will show no info and will eventually show this error:

‘Can’t connect to event service’ make sure ports 5558 and 5556 are open

The firewall is off. This is a server 2012 VM.

When I look in services I see that the Spiceworks event processor is not running. When I try to start it I get this error: Windows could not start the Spiceworks EventPorcessor on local computer,…contact vendor and refer to service-specific error code 4.

Checked the event log.The even log shows this:

The Spiceworks event processor service terminated with the following service-specific error:

‘The system cannot open the file.’ event ID 7024

I have restarted the server with no change. I tired to run the installer again but my option seems to be to uninstall. If I need to reinstall and lose all of my settings, then I will not bother with it

{"@type":"Person
{"@type":"Answer

Alright, looks like we’ve got to the bottom of this. If anyone else is seeing this and cannot afford to uninstall and reinstall the Network Monitor (you would lose your config data), please reach out to us at [email protected]. We have a manual fix for now that we can guide you through and a installer fix should be coming soon. If you do need our help on this one, please mention this post or bug # 70568. Thanks!

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer
Just upgraded NM to latest version 1.3 Was working correctly prior to this.

Now it will show no info and will eventually show this error:

‘Can’t connect to event service’ make sure ports 5558 and 5556 are open

The firewall is off.
