I am trying to install Network Monitoring Agent onto Windows Server 2019 machine.

I get the message

Service ‘Spiceworks Agent Shell Service’ (AgentShellService) failed to start/ Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.

I have grented my account the provilege to start services.

I tried to manually set the user account to start your service.

I also tried to increase sevice start timeout, and I’ve made sure that .Net Framework is installed (4.7 is in place).

I re-started and re-downloaded the Agent, to no avail.

I have tried multiple times, and the issue is the same.

Could you please give me an advice on how to proceed with install?

Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the community! Install net framework 4.8 and it will install without an issue. Look at the requirements here
