We have finally switched over to the new help desk. Man o Man is it nice and fast. But we do have a few gripes and I was curious if anyone one else feels our pain or knows of some fixes.

  1. CC’d users on tickets are on a different tab. We use this religiously and it is now just a little more difficult to get to

  2. no close button until the ticket is assigned

  3. cant merge tickets until it is assigned

  4. column information disappears, must disable column the re-enable to get the data to populate

  2. Hadn’t noticed this.
  3. Same as #2. We have rules that assign every ticket that comes in.
  4. Haven’t seen this happen!

I’m with you in there there are some UI annoyances. I’ll add mine below.

  1. Custom Fields. There’s PLENTY of room on the ticket ribbon (with the title, assignee, etc…) to show other details like creator, some custom fields, etc… Let us choose what shows on that ribbon please!

Thanks for the feedback on those first three!

The fourth point sounds like a bug that should be fixed up soon. There’s currently an issue with custom columns only showing up as a header. That throws everything out of alignment and really makes things hard to read. Again, that should be fixed up soon!
