I need to get a new ultrabook model for our top brass due to Sony pulling out of the UK market

I had decided on a Lenovo Yoga pro 2 until i found that I can only get windows 8.1 standard in the UK so won’t be able to add it to the domain.

Has anyone got any ideas for the below spec but also looking good.

Windows 8.1 pro - 256 SSD - 8 GB RAM - i5 or i7 processor - 13.3" screen or less

I agree that the Dell spec works but i’m not sold on the look of the device for our sales team

I’d suggest MS Surface PRO 3 - Really understated devices. They are surprisingly FANTASTIC. It’s mostly a tablet, but with the new attachable keyboard they do work really great as laptops.

You can also get a proper docking station for them

I’ll second the Surface Pro suggestion. My boss, who is our company owner, loves his. In the past he gets “bored” and wants the latest tech, so I was used to getting him something new about every 6 to 9 months. I got him a Surface two years ago, and he is still very happy with it. We did recently buy him the Type Cover 2 with backlighting, which is nice, and I bought him a docking station to use at home.

I also have a Surface that I use for all of my daily mobile tasks and offsite troubleshooting.

Thinkpad yoga, is available with i7, 256gb ssd, has a 12.5 inch touchscreen, 7-8 hour battery, backlit keyboard, Windows 8.1 pro, Bluetooth, ac wifi, folds into a tablet as well…It’s what I carry personally and is my favorite laptop / ultrabook of all time. Also has an IPS display and weighs 3.4 pounds.

And with it being in the Thinkpad line it’s a true business class laptop.
