That depends on alot of factors. Where you operate, what your service actually includes and offers, stuff like that.<\/p>\n
My advice, be very clear in your scope of support and set clear guidelines for what you’re including.<\/p>\n
My last consulting role was as an MSP. Monthly contracts were per device managed with a minimum number of devices. The plans were all unlimited remote business hours support with additional fees for onsite or after hours work. I’m in a small city so I couldn’t set my rates too high. so it averaged out to about 100-120 per seat per month. I had clear scope of support though that was well outined. I only supported certain software, everything had to be under warranty and have vendor support contracts. I didn’t support anything beyond basic functionality of microsoft products. So I’d fix outlook not sending mail. but I won’t fix your custom excel macro.<\/p>\n
Also, set clear contact roles and guidelines. Have one office manager you deal with for service requests.
