Okay! Been a while since we met and I’ve been told that t-shirts are on their way!

I know my workplace is pretty boring, so this time I’m going to look for a volunteer to host the meeting. Don’t worry- you don’t have to run the meeting (unless you want to!)- just provide the place to meet, a projector, and provide or arrange for refreshments.

Also, please post a reply with the dates/times that work for you- I realize we won’t please everyone, but at least we can pick a date that works for most people.

I’m getting kinda of used to meeting at your place…:-> I think I may have posted this earlier, but honestly the Saturday days are working fairly well for me out even though I initially thought they would not. We could always meet down here in Decatur, IN at this place if need be as we do have a nice conference room. Kinda boring also though…And could be a longer drive for some.

I just attended a Spice Corps webinar today and they touched on how to get a vendor to sponsor a meeting- seems like a sweet deal! Only bad thing is that you have to schedule a meeting and then invite the vendors. But I’d be willing to try to corral one in for this next meeting!

So, question for the group- what vendor(s) would you like to have at future meetings?

Saturday’s are okay for me too.

I could host, but I am even farther south, down here in Berne, IN. Unless you guys want to see some furniture being built! My server room (okay it is just a closet) is kind of boring…

The only Saturday coming up that I am for sure busy is August 27th. Other than that I think I am okay.

It does seem like Saturday is just about the only day that works for us overworked IT guys!

And for the record, I’m perfectly happy hosting. I just remember that at least one person expressed an interest in hosting at the last meeting and I didn’t want to hog all the hosting duties to myself!

My company Heritage Food Service Equipment (North -NW side of Fort Wayne, Google Maps ) has a medium-large conference room, with a nice projector. Access to computers, wifi and it right next to a breakroom with vending machines and coffee ect. I think we could host a meeting about any saturday or sunday.

Vendors I would like to see, HP, Intel, APC, Maybe Brother, thats most of the vendors that we use. I hope thats what you meant.

I agree on the HP, Intel, APC and Brother. Dell might also be a good one to invite.

If you’re willing to have it there Ryan, I think it would be great for our next meeting. I’ll drum up a few dates and post them up here for all to vote on.
