Hello:

I am having ODBC issues on two computers. When I go to add a new system DSN I don’t have the option to choose the Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb, *.accdb). I have looked in both the 32 bit and 64 bit ODBCcad32 interfaces in both system 32 and SysWOW64. I have no idea why they are missing. My recollection is that they were there at some point in the past since the DB functions that are being effected worked at one time on each of these computers. Please help! This one has stumped me for months and I would love to get it off my plate.

Thanks,

Kevin

Is MS Access installed? Is it just the MS Access driver that is missing? HAve you opened the ODBC applet as Administrator?

Thanks for the response! Yes, Access is installed. This is all that is there and yes, I ran as administrator.

Is this a 32 bit install of Office on a 64-bit OS?

Hello Rockn,

Thank you for your help. I ran the Office online repair and I now have the data sources. This looks like it is the fix I needed.

Thanks again!
