Hi Guys,

We have an active Office365 Education subscription and we currently provide this purely so that out stadents and faculty staff can get access to the latest version of Office at home.

Now students\staff can install up to five copies of Office on PC’s but one of our staff has installed into a school owned device in the classroom which we are not happy with.

Does anyone know if these five copies are for personal devices only as opposed to school owned desktops?

Thanks.

The legality of the Office install isn’t in question, MS don’t care where you install it

The conformity to your IT policy is in question…also how did someone gain admin access to do this?

Either is acceptable. This is the benefit of having a per user license as opposed to a per device license.
