Looking for a download link for the latest 7.4.

I’m on the 7.5 Beta version and can’t upgrade it.

If you can hang fire a few hours until I am home I can send you 7.4 (I have a few builds)

have you tried, system backup folder? you might find it there.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Spiceworks\sys_backup\ restore_spice

If you still need this, what version?

We changed version numbers so you could, in theory, upgrade from Beta. You shouldn’t be running a Beta in production, but I know you already know this :-).

Jackie.

Of course Jackie

Unfortunately the upgrade failed, so I’m looking to go back to the latest 7.4 and upgrade to a Production 7.5.

Let me know if you still need a hand with this. If so, you could always send me your DB and I’ll do the upgrades for you.

Yeah please Peter

Whatever suits you better?

What version of Spiceworks are you running right now?

7.5.00011

And that’s your production version? That’s definitely an earlier beta version and you should never have brought that into your production environment. I can’t promise this is going to work, but I’ll send you the steps to send me your DB anyway and I’ll give it a shot. Email…incoming!

Ok, so I made a boo boo.

When I got the e-mail I thought this was the Prod, which we were just testing before release… but I was wrongded :frowning:

Hehe, no worries, we all make mistakes! :stuck_out_tongue:

It looks like this worked. The problem is that a help desk ticket was somehow written to the Alerts table in the database. Removing that entry, running the repair scripts, and then trying to upgrade seems to have worked. I’m sending your data back now with instructions on how to re-install. Write back once you have everything back online!
