Well Mr. Random generator takes us back to the late 60’s again, this time 1968. I did not realize that “Words” was from this era. I also found out that one of my favorite 60’s songs was sung by the Tremeloes, but “Silence is Golden” came up on my playlist while I was searching for “Suddenly You Love Me.” I love the sound of the late sixties, music that is fronted by strong keyboard sounds and what I always think of as “spy movie” beats.

18 – BeeGees “Words”

19 – Paul Revere and the Raiders “Too Much Talk”

38 – The Balloon Farm “A Question of Temperature”

43 – Billy Vera and Judy Clay “Country Girl – City Boy”

45 – The Tremeloes “Suddenly You Love Me”

I’d never heard any of those songs before, and only heard of two of the acts. But always good to discover “new” music, thanks!

A few of these felt familiar, but other than the obvious Bee Gees, I couldn’t put my finger on why.

Using a friend as a sled isn’t something I’d have ever thought to do :joy: :sled:

That’s an interesting bunch, very early Bee Gees and late Paul Revere. I’ve never heard any of these since none of them made it to “Oldies” playlists and in 1968 I could only listen to my parents’ radio stations

I didn’t know the Bee Gees went back to 1968, so I looked them up in Wikipedia.

They actually started in 1958! :exploding_head:

I always associate them with the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack from almost 20 years later.
