Apparently I am still not at 100%. Realized starting lunch that I had not posted the chart songs for today. Mr. Random was kind and put out a year that I can relate to. I would say that every artist here is recognizable. Good to see Candian Rockers “April Wine” entering the chart today. The song would rise as high as #57 on the US Charts and #40 in their homeland. Christopher Cross here representing the fading days of the “Yacht Rock” genere.
Scanning through the whole list, I found that I knew most of the songs including comedy hits like Joe Dolce’s “Shaddup You Face” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANaGQpt_ibI
20 - Christopher Cross “Say You’ll Be Mine”
28 - Quincy Jones “AI No Corrida”
29 - Jefferson Starship “Find Your Way Back”
33 - Eric Clapton “I Can’t Stand It”
87 - April Wine “Sign Of The Gypsy Queen”
Here is the whole list if you want to scan through an post your favourite.

Please say it is not so, you have missed much great music. Perhaps a couple of samples will encourage you to did deeper.

Thanks for the full list. I recognized a lot of them.
“Bette Davis Eyes” by Kim Carnes at the top deserves it for sure. A couple of other ones I recognized and remember enjoying were “America” by Neil Diamond and “Don’t Stand So Close to Me” by the Police.

Just getting caught up after a nice long 4-day weekend. I, too, appreciate seeing the whole list, and there’s a whole lot to love on there! I particularly love the Hall & Oates entries, and can actually hear my dad singing them at the top of his lungs as we travelled cross-country on our family vacations in the 80’s. As for Mr. Random’s picks, I also thought I was very familiar with the music of this time, and while I knew every artist, the only song I knew was Jefferson Starship “Find Your Way Back”. However, I did listen to every one of them, and they’re all gold in my book!
Edit to add: Oops, I definitely know Eric Clapton’s “I Can’t Stand It”. I just somehow didn’t recognize it by the name and hadn’t bothered to click play yet.
