Today is my last day at my current employer, so come Monday I’ll be sipping coffee, taking calls, and l33t h4XX9ring from my home office in some less professional state of dress. Wish me well!

I’ve grown attached to my daily routine of hanging on SW for the first part of the day, so I’ll keep that up. And I have to do the daily challenges, of course!

Congrats and good luck! May I ask what exactly you’ll be doing? I’m thinking about looking for a “stay at home” job in the next year or so, but not sure where to even begin.

I’m actually just standing by, awaiting my security clearance to come through. I’ll be doing Sr Netw Admin for a contractor, and I’m stoked! Until I actually start, though, I’ll be spoiling myself, freelancing, sleeping, and playing with my dog, music, and games. Who knows, maybe I’ll put a new deck, or just sneak into the neighbors’ pool while they’re working.

I hope you applied for the clearance awhile ago. Those can take a pretty long while… If you’re lucky, you’ll get the interim pretty quick, and they’ll let you start work then.
