We are using Office 365 on Outlook 2010. Starting today, one of our users cannot open outlook. The software loads to the main screen then immediately freezes. I’ve tried to create a new profile and reinstall outlook. I’m continuing to have this problem. I’m not having this problem on any other computer or with any other user. When recreating a profile or adding a new email account, the software still loads/displays the old information and doesn’t give an indication of a new profile or email account. I’m receiving this error in the event viewer:

The program OUTLOOK.EXE version 14.0.6131.5000 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel.

Can you run OL by going to run and then typing in outlook /safe to see if a plug-in is causing an issue?

That’s not working either.

Can you logon as a different user and create an Outlook profile and have it work? If yes then might be a local profile issue and you just need to rebuild it. If no then see below for possible steps to take.

What if you did a system restore back to a point when you know Outlook was working?

Reimaging the machine was the only thing that worked in the end. Thanks for your help.
