Naw… still haven’t figured it out yet. I’m still slogging through the forums trying to find the solution… as well as why Spiceworks seems to randomly “forget” which username and password to use when scanning machines. Also still digging into the poppular “rename a domain machine” issue where I end up with two machines with two different names but actually the same machine.<\/p>\n
May end up just blowing out the database and starting from scratch. Nothing seems to resolve these problems on this installation. No big… and definately not the end of the world as we know it.
(And yes… DNS/WMI is fine… really… I’m pretty anal about keeping that stuff in good working order)

Some people have found this but I have not seen a full fix, if you want to send your logs to Spiceworks and they will have a look for you.

Upgrade to the latest version (4.7.52439) and see if that fixes the problem.
