What type of printer are you looking to service?

My boss is looking at purchasing a used Ricoh 2045 and would like to find someone that would put it under a service contract. We currently use UDP for our HPs and Kyocera but they will not service the Ricoh.

We are a Xerox agency/dealer. I would suggest to your boss not to purchase a machine but as to lease one if they are going to put under service.

Lease is the way to go. We lease all of our copiers and paper, supplies and maintenance are all rolled in.

It is equipment that might be picked up from a company that we just acquired. We actually like having service contracts on our printers/MFPs as I am the only IT member here and need to not spend my time working on the printers.

The problem with leasing right now though is that many of the companies that fund the leasing will not touch a lease if the company involved with the lease has anything to do with mortgages (even if we have the capitol to outright by a brand new machine).

I am not needing a new top of the line machine and have a MFP (not yet purchased) that should be rather inexpensive and just need a company to service it and provide supplies for it.

We use MTC for all of our printer repairs. I don’t know if they do Ricohs but the ones they do service, they’ll write a maintenance contract for them.

Don’t know where the Lenexa is but Scantron Service Group is US based company that has techs in all areas. They focus on printers but do fix other items as well. Great company. You get what you pay for.

You might check with IKON the handle Ricoh. That’s who we use but we lease.

We use KK Office Solutions in our Overland Park Office. They service Ricoh / Lanier. If you call, ask for Ray and tell him Jason from Martin, Pringle referred you. We’ve done business with them in our home office (Wichita) for years.

We just picked up a used RICOH 3035 at avery good price from Pro Serv of Kansas City. They are located in Lenexa at 9120 Neiman Rd. They also hold the service contract for it and a couple of other printer/copiers we have.
