I have an odd issue where some news items when published not posting/appearing on our homepage. They are created in the same way as all the other pages/news items. The only way to get them to appear is to create another new item/page in the same (usual) way and then copy & paste the content into the new page and then publishing it - makes it post/appearing on the homepage. These pages are created in the usual way/or sometimes are copies of older pages/items then updated and renamed - for some reason the odd few pages will not show on the homepage when published - despite being created in the same way as all the other pages/items that are created and publish as normal. Unpublishing and publishing does not fix it - I have tried re-indexing the SharePoint site which makes no difference.
Is there anything that I can do/looking into how to get (fix) pages that don’t appear/publish correctly to do so other than to ask users to recreate them again?
