I have been looking at starting to use the inventory/purchasing section for one of our larger clients, and found instructions online to do the following.

  1. click on inventory

  2. click on purchasing from the drop down

  3. click on request a quote to send an email to your vendor of choice

but when i click on “request a quote” it gives me this error.

"There are no items to be added to a quote.
Only items that have not been purchased can be added to a new quote."

Any thoughts?

i have searched the forums for the error and come up with 0.

Thanks for trying out the new RFQ feature. When you click ‘request a quote’ spiceworks will automatically make a quote including items on your purchase list that have not been purchased yet. So try creating a new purchase and then clicking the ‘request a quote’ button. After that you will still be able to add/subtract more items before you send the bid to vendors. Thanks.
