click on request a quote to send an email to your vendor of choice<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
but when i click on “request a quote” it gives me this error.<\/p>\n

When you click ‘request a quote’ spiceworks will automatically make a quote including items on your purchase list that have not been purchased yet. So try creating a new purchase and then clicking the ‘request a quote’ button. After that you will still be able to add/subtract more items before you send the bid to vendors.
