Guys/gals
Quick give me some suggestions to cheer myself up before i end up shooting one of my work mates!
I’ve had an extreamly bad day today! you know when you get those days where everything just seems to go against you? something that is so simple to fix ends up taking half a day? Higher up’s jumping on your back asking whats going on? and users condemning your ability as an IT support desk because you can’t be in 5 places at the same time.
people letting you down right at the very last minute?
Had all this and more in one day and i don’t expect it to clear up for the rest of the week

I heard something really funny this morning on the radio but it was about American college football so you probably wouldn’t think it funny. I guess that’s not much help.
Epic FAIL to me!

Best thing is to look for better work… nothing is more cathartic than leaving an unappreciative employer.
I always cheer myself up by buying a new toy. Last Saturday I ordered an Apple Ipad
You could try that…?
When I’m in that spot, praying usually helps. But also, you have to tell yourself ‘this too shall pass’ sometimes. I’ve been in jobs that seemed like a never ending nightmare at times and I just said to myself (promised myself!) ‘I will get out of here one day’! It won’t last forever…

It’s not that… it’s just think about having everything go against you all packed into 1 day! all the support jobs you get (simple ones, turn out not to be simple and have to take the most difficult route to fix) :-/
though i did have some fun looking at flats at lunch time

It is raining…
Download the yahoo toolbar, or any flavor, and use a GPO to install it on the user who started it all. Tell him he needs to reboot at lunch to receive an important security update. Create another GPO that sets the screensaver to the blue screen one; no installation is done so it will just propagate out. As the screensavers start going off, track it back to the toolbar installed on the user’s machine. Make yourself look like a god.

Look back at everything you have already done. Your deity of choice will never give you anything you can’t handle, but sometimes I think he/she/pb&j sandwich/cthulu have too much faith in me!

This really does put it in perspective Chris. At least when you have a bad day at work you can leave it behind at 5 o’clock.
Take a break! Go home sick…LOL
Never fails to lighten up someones day.
