I run QuickBook in Windows Server 2019. When a User tries to send an invoice via email, the software locks up then displays an error message: qbmapi64 Out of Memory

When we click ‘ok’ the software shuts down entirely.

When I log on (to the server) with my admin account, I can send the invoice with no problem. This leads me to believe it’s a permission issues rather than a memory allocation issue. I have tried everything I can think of (and have spent coutless hours researching) but I can’t seem to figure it out.

FYI:

This is a Google CE Virtual Server
Windows Server 2019
16GB Ram

Any help is greatly appreciated.

To start off, I don’t have any QuickBooks installs running on Google CE Virtual Server. Having said this, the issue seems occurs on local installs as well. I came across a post that suggests starting qbmapi.exe application as an Administrator. Looking at my Lab QuickBooks 2023 machine, I see qbmapi32.exe and qbmapi64.exe, see if changing these resolves this.

I set it to start/run as Administrator but it didn’t work. It is for sure an Admin vs User thing. I can send it, but they can’t.
