So they give you less for the same money and that makes it “special”?

But then this is a 2 for 1 capture. Variable one speed. ???

It must mean that the client is special if they fall for the marketing

So you bought only the tool?

They literally increase the overall price…who does that right ? So that must be special…

This is what they have to resort to when they can’t just make the product quantity smaller, like the coffee, ice cream, peanut butter, etc., folks do periodically.

At least it’s not as bad as the Black Friday “deals” you see on Amazon. It’s always a little funny when you see the list price of a product go up 30% and be “discounted” 25.

Reminds me of the shipping meme.

Absolutely. I remember years ago before Ebay changed their fee structure, people would list stuff for a dollar with 500 shipping because you only paid fees on the selling price.

I just saw similar on Amazon when I was shopping for a DeWalt cordless drill. Made me shake my head and really try to find a difference other than no charger.

Sounds similar to Overclockers UK and their weekly sales. Sometimes, they discount products by a penny, which makes it a “Sale Price”.
