I’m a network engineer at router-switch and currently looking into Cisco AI Pods for AI workloads. As I understand, these are pre-configured infrastructure stacks optimized for AI deployment.

I’d love to hear from anyone who’s deployed or tested them in production. A few specific areas I’m curious about:

  • Enterprise data centers: How do Cisco AI Pods simplify deployment and scaling of AI infrastructure? Are they truly effective with high-volume data environments?

  • Edge computing: Any insights on latency improvements or performance when used at the edge? Any edge deployment cases you’ve seen?

  • AI workloads: Are they more tuned for training, inference, or a mix of both? How’s the integration with existing L2/L3 network infrastructure?

  • Security & management: Anything to be aware of when it comes to securing or operating Cisco AI Pods at scale?
