Hey Guys
I have been using Atera for a while, but due to some unforeseen events and misunderstandings from Atera side haven’t I been able to use the service for remote desktop for a while.
Can you recommend a remote desktop service/solution, and eventually the cost?
Ideally a service that offer -on the spot sign up- as i have some pretty p*ssed off clients

Any recommendations?
I use Teamviewer and it works. That said, if I were shopping now, Splashtop would get serious consideration.

I personally love Goverlan, but is less an MSP type tool than they are NetworkAdmin type tool (works best on domain).
Manageengine’s RMM would be a consideration if you want a competitive product to Atera. They make a strong suite of products.

We moved from TeamViewer (due to cost) and now use ConnectWise Control.
Granted, I am Helpdesk using it for internal uses, so have no experience with using it in a customer environment.
For onesie twosie, I also occasionally use AnyDesk.

TeamViewer is usually my go to free option but I have also started using LogMeIn .

Do you have any specific requirements? Off hand I’m a big fan of ConnectWise Control. It’s a great tool for remote support.

How many users are you looking to support? And as a follow-up question, you mentioned clients, are you an MSP or do you work within a company’s internal IT org?

Throwing another hand in for ConnectWise. I have been using it for 6 years. Replaced a combo of PC Anywhere and Teamviewer. One of our software companies uses Splashtop and It is pretty slick also. Pricing on the ConnectWise is concurrent connections ( I believe and pretty affordable).

Without knowing more about your needs and requirements, it is pretty complicated to make a good suggestion. Lots of excellent options are already mentioned above. I have pretty good experience with Royal TS/TSX Server and Client. You can check the pricing here Royal Apps . Atera offers a fully-fledged RMM bungle, so I believe remote access is not the only feature that you are missing.

If you’re looking for solutions where end users share there sessions (essentially remote support, like bomgar), a lot of folks have recommended solid things.
Definitely take a look at Remote Desktop Manager by Devolutions. The free version is pretty feature rich. Depending what exactly you’re trying to do I’ve not found a better software for remote session management to be honest. However, I’m not positive they have a ‘remote assist’ functionality, which might be a key piece you’re looking for. if you’re looking to manage a large amount of remote desktop sessions, perhaps other types. We have the enterprise edition and basically store everything in a SQL db… it’s pretty awesome.
