You need to also forward the ports. If the clients are outside your network, you will need to port forward through the sonic firewall. (Careful here as the server will be found by attackers) If the machine hosting the Spiceworks database/program has a software firewall (Norton or maybe the Windows Firewall) you need to make sure the ports are open on it as well.<\/p>\n
Think hard about opening ports through the firewall and letting any/all source IP come through.<\/p>\n
