I have around 800 desktops whats best practice, use remote agents or WMI scanning to collect data? I have a handful of machines that for whatever reason will not scan in, authentication errors, installed agent works fine. I was thinking about installing the agent on all my machines would that be a bad idea? I would still run my network scans weekly to discover new devices.

I believe it is not recommended to use the agent throughout your network.
