Hello everyone,

scenario is the following one:

7 remote sites fully operational
1 Centralized Data Collector site.

I would like to have the centralized site to be ONLY collecting data - the remote sites will still need to have the full functionality that they have before the Data Collection settings are in place.

How can I accomplish this?

Is there a way to keep the full functionality on a remote site, but enable the data collection (sending the inventory and tickets to the centralized location) at the same time?

I guess you are already familiar with stuff regarding turning a SW install to remote collector mode and with confirming it on main SW install

Then, for the main install you can keep it just to colect data from remotes and to handle the tickets system.

For remotes, their porpose is only to collect data and send it to main install, and as an option can have local issued tickets. And nothing more and this is by design.

Guys,

thx for the reply.

In case you are wandering why I need to keep the remote locations with Full functionality and not use the centralized collector as the full system … is because the remote locations are onboard Cruise line vessels … the connection speed is not fast enough to allow me to use the central one as the main site.

I will do some more testing on this to see how I can get it configured to our needs.
