What is your current go to tool for managing remote teams, and what do you like or dislike about it? Remote work is here to stay, but not all tech stacks work equally. Some work very well, some not so much. From communication to collaboration, what tools make remote workflow easier…or a nightmare?

We use Teams. My last company during the pandemic used it to the fullest and if done right can be useful, trying to get that rolling here but user adoption/acceptance is the hard part.

Teams is a great tool for staying connected!

I have a few outside salesmen with laptops. Splashtop and Action1 allow me to manage all the local and remote devices in one place seamlessly. This makes it easier to assist those users with issues remotely and ensure that those devices stay updated. I highly recommend both of those companies to help manage those remote devices.

Great insights!

There are terrific options for remotely managing devices available. I’m not disputing any other RMM solution, but intel-vpro sticks out in my mind! Although I’m not working in a cold dark NOC anymore, just knowing that vPro works below the OS and can reach a registered device even out of network and powered down, seems like a sure win for IT pros. Full disclosure, I am biased!
