I have an issue that maybe you guys can assist with. I have an automated schedule to scan all of my network devices once a week (Or so I thought) which isn’t working. Even if I manually kick start the device scanning of my devices it wont work. However if I do a manual scan of a single device using the tools menu in that device and click scanning it works fine. I am able to verify this by going to the dashboard and looking at the pie chart of different OS’s and ill see it increment by 1 when its ran for the specific OS. Below is what I have scheduled please advise if i’m doing something wrong. Thanks for all your help!!!

Go to settings, inventory, device scanning and disable your current scan ranges.
Add in a single IP and scan it, it can be an existing one.
If this works disable this single IP and re-enable the subnets, and scan those, this should fix it.
Don’t ask why, I have no idea but it some how kick starts it

Are the rest of your group scans disabled? I can’t tell from that picture for sure…
Yes I only have the Full devices scan enabled.
So I did what you recommended and disabled all the scan devices and then added a new one, scanned it and it was successful. I then re enabled the scan devices and attempted a scan and it still doesn’t update at all as far as I can tell.
Any other suggestions are welcome, thanks.

Show us the top part with your ranges on, but by all means blur the ranges.
If you have full scans enabled but the ranges themselves are disable your effectively still turned it off

I don’t understand your statement.
So long as the ranges are enabled they should scan
Oh the scan process does run but it doesn’t update the inventory of the existing devices. I have updated about 25 PC’s to Windows 10 and after the scanning it never registers that the new OS is Windows 10 unless I perform a manual scan on the device’s individually.

Go to settings, inventory, device scanning, scroll down and show settings, edit scan speed to slow, and rescan the network, scans are slower but more details are gathered each scan.
If you want until the next full scan takes place (usually 30 days) this will also update it
You can change this to full by editing below but be aware this is harsher on the network and speed
