I’m trying to scan a Cisco SG-500X series switch with Spiceworks with snmp v1.

On the switch I have:

Turned on the snmp service

Set the community name and the view in the community, and the management station IP to my spiceworks box

Set the access mode to read the default view

What am I missing

(I get a cannot connect in Spiceworks)

Hey Justin. I’m pretty sure that there’s a bug on the 500x model. Something about a non standard interface that’s causing the problem. I’m not able to get at my bug tickets at the moment, but I’ll check as soon as I can and let you know what I find.
