Hi,

While scanning my computers on the N/W I see that applications that have even been uninstalled are shown in the applications asset list.

Is there a particular way that s/w needs to be uninstalled or do we have to remove registry entries too manually ?

any pointers will be helpful

Spiceworks picks up the software from the registry HKLM\software. If it is listed there it will be shown in spiceworks. Run registry cleaner and try again

Blame it on poor uninstal routines. I have one heavily upgraded laptop here that SW claims has three different versions of Office!
