Are others using the Applications feature in SentinelOne to find computers and applications with CVE’s? I’m early in the process of learning this and have not made much progress yet. My plan was to start with the highest impact risks and work down the list towards low impact risks. Would appreciate any feedback or best practices.
3 Spice ups
One small success story. I found some dated VPN software that were subject to multiple CVE’s. Installed new version of the software that does not have known risks. Went to Applications and clicked Scan Now. After about 30 minutes the computers that had this vulnerability were cleared.
I still have more to learn concerning this feature. In a few cases I can’t find some software that is reported as being risky in the Applications tab. Hopefully I will learn more about the functions in this area.
