is there a snap in to run in outlook 2007 that users can use to send tickets instead of using the help desk web interface

2 Spice ups

You could create an email template in Outlook and distribute it to all clients.

how do i go about doing that

That depends on the version of Outlook you are using. But you would create it on yours as a master template, save it out, and then export the saved file to everyone else.

Also, as long as you have an email setup for helpdesk, and then setup the email portion in Spiceworks, users can simple email that address any issues they have and Spiceworks will parse this into a ticket using the subject line as the description.

My method would be if you wanted a standard form, which you can also edit the current form in Spiceworks by navigating to settings, helpdesk settings, and then there is a section for “Ticket Notification Templates”

If you want to create a template in Outlook look here,
