Just one of those days where I need to power through and music is probably going to be my muse to through. So, I’ve got the 90’s jams going… and my techs are looking at me like I’m an alien.
The playlist so far:
Luniz, Michael Jackson, Pearl Jam, MC Hammer, Lil’ Troy, Fu-Schnickens, Warren G, Onyx, Coolio, Metallica, Counting Crows, Hootie, House of Pain, Green Jello, Ini Kamozee, Tonic, and, of course, the Digital Underground.
The poor young pup looks very confused.

What about The Farm, The La’s, James, Happy Mondays, Levellers, Manic Street Preachers, REM?
3 Spice ups
All of those are definitely in the hard drive, somewhere…
Farm, I think I’ve got one in there. REM is definitely in there. The La’s, iirc, There she goes? That I know is in there. One of my Wife’s favorites. James and Happy Mondays, not sure about.

I could go on and on but don’t forget that all I want to do is a zoom-a-zoom-zoom-zoom and a poom-poom, just shake ya rump.

Nothing like some good jams to get you through the day… I find really bad days make me dig out the 90’s metal, good days call for sweet bluesy guitar riffs and a catchy hook. The rest of the time, random on my playlist will get you music from the last 50 years and many many different genres.
Really messes up my teenage son, some tune will come on from the 90’s. He’ll be like “that’s pretty cool i forget your old music is cool sometimes” (or he’ll tell me he’s glad the 80s/90s are gone depending on the song) then the next tune up is some new band he can’t believe I’ve heard of, never mind listen to. so much fun keeping your kids guessing.

My good days are Rock / Pop Country. My bad days are 90s One hit Wonders. My REALLY bad days is filled with DMX, Disturbed, Static X (RIP Wayne), etc. Anything that gets my blood boiling and my limbs wanting to rip body parts off people.
My wife will laugh at me. “STILL as bad as you were in High School.” (Musical taste wise. I’m all over the place.)

No Green Day? You can’t have 90’s without Green Day

I had a buddy who destroyed Green Day for me. To this day, I can’t listen to them. (You know that buddy. The buddy who INSISTS on driving everywhere, but every time he drives, he plays the SAME CD. Yeaaaaaa…)

Green Day only existed in the 90’s, anything from them past that point was crap in my opinion.
Speaking of quintessential 90’s music…
