Hello, We have a mac that needs to connect to our company firewall. Sonicwall pointed us to a few apps on the app store, but those seem to be more geared towards the iPad. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

We need our mac to connect to a Sonicwall NSA. Our windows systems connect like a dream.

Thanks

Sonicwall Mobile Connect is usually what is suggested to use here. Despite macOS not being a “mobile” operating system, it still functions all the same to provide a VPN connection into your network. Keep in mind though that this software will use an SSL VPN license upon connecting as opposed to one from the Global VPN Client license pool that their Windows VPN software client uses.

If SSL VPN licenses are too few to accommodate this option, then you could always go the manual route and set up an L2TP connection to your Sonicwall on the Mac. Just make sure you have the L2TP server enabled on your Sonicwall and properly configured.
