First sighting of Orion Pictures seen in 1978.

I just watched the 2024 version. I would it call grotesque and not horror. :joy:

RIP. You are missed.

Karma?

Making sense worries me.

I swear I’m not Innocent III

2009: American playwright and screenwriter Horton Foote—who evoked American life in beautifully observed minimal stories and was perhaps best known for his adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird—died in Connecticut.
1982: Canadian jurist Bertha Wilson became the first woman appointed to the Supreme Court of Canada. Wow! Going from being on the jury to the Supreme Court.
1888: Gridiron football coach Knute Rockne—who, while at the University of Notre Dame, became the intercollegiate sport’s first true celebrity coach—was born in Voss, Norway.
1974: “People” magazine launches
1952: Ernest Hemingway finishes “The Old Man and the Sea”
1944: Louis “Lepke” Buchalter, the head of Murder, Inc., is executed
2005: Martha Stewart is released from prison
1789: Government under the U.S. Constitution begins

1944: Bobby Womack - American singer, songwriter, and guitarist
Died 2008: Ernest Gary Gygax - American entrepreneur. Do you know who he is? You better.

To think that this unauthorised adaptation is one of the most iconic films ever made. From what I’ve heard as well, the recent remake is very good.

Another victim of Autocomplete?

We really should rename it Aitocomplete, so we can properly assign blame…

It was very good. Orlock is terrifying, cast is great, if you are a horror fan you would probably like it.

Nope, brain fart :expressionless:

I did not care for the latest Nosferatu. Visually, it was spectacular. The rest of it was just meh. Plus, Lily Rose Depp and her facial expressions at times were laughable.

There were 2 proposed including the LZ-129 Hindenberg. 2nd one being the LZ-130 Graf Zeppelin, which never flew commercial as it required Helium and not hydrogen as the Hindenberg used. As war was on the horizon, the US refused the sale of Helium to Germany, it ended up being retro fitted for Hydrogen.

I disagree, but appreciate your opinion.

I mean she made crazy faces but she was being possessed and worse. After the flashback at the beginning, she seemed normal until the plot started picking up and Orlock’s influence was starting to pick up again.

But I can see the other side of the coin, I just think it works in service of the story and character. :man_shrugging:

I love the jab Crow made on an episode of MST3K when the Orion star came on screen.

“Oh look Orion’s bankrupt…”

And then there was the sighting of Orion’s Belt in 1997.
