I’ve recently set up a Spiceworks helpdesk, integrated with AD and using our Exchange for emails.
A while back it seemed to re-open tickets after I’d closed them but I put this down to my not doing something correctly.
Tonight it has started to email out say Helpdesk wrote No Comment every few minutes for test tickets I’d already closed. I’ve tried Deleting them but it seems to just recreate them and carry on emailing out. I’ve turned the emails off for the moment to avoid Spamming ourselves.
Any suggestions as to how I regain control??

Do you have any auto reply messages setup on your Exchange server for the account you are using to send / receive helpdesk email messages with?

In other words is your helpdesk email or the email address that is the ticket creator for that ticket set to autoreply (including out of office)?
