What version, the RC? Did you check the production log? Is this a new installation or are you updating from a previous version?

This was Beta 3, It was updated from previous version.

Try a fresh install and see if it crashes without importing your old data.

I have just updated to RC so will see how it goes as would rather not have to rebuild all the data.

Just remember that you’re not running a release version, and that it’s still beta. As with all beta software, use of it as your production environment is not recommended.

Our production environment is so small that it would not be a major issue, but would still rather keep all the historical data.

Will keep an eye on what happens and go from there I think.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for testing the beta with us - I also recommend you reinstall a fresh copy of the latest beta to see if this continues. We have made changes through beta 1, 2, and 3 that could cause problems if you are updating from one beta build to the next.

We recommend not running beta builds in production to save you the headache of reinstalling Spiceworks and losing data you collected.

You could always run a fresh copy of the latest build (RC) on a different computer to find out if the crashing recurs.
