We have another build of the Network Monitor available for testing. For those counting, this is our 5th beta release and we are now at version 0.4.5. The theme of this release is bug fixes, with a little UI touch-up thrown in. We’re getting down to the wire and trying to get everything in tip top shape before the final release goes out. Please check out the list of fixes below:
-
Fixed an issue that would prevent offline alerts from clearing after a device came back online
-
Should now display the model name for networking devices on the devices page
-
Added some tweaks that should help with the browser crashing after being inactive for a period of time
-
Fixed a bug that would prevent a new device from saving properly when the form auto-fill was used in Firefox
-
Graph fill patterns should now display in Firefox
-
Inventory details can now be hidden
-
Added a tooltip to device cards in the alert section of the dashboard to give more details of active alerts on a given device
-
Improved the humanization and readability of some resource stats
-
Fixed various bugs around proxy settings, specifically wish proxy servers that require authentication.
-
Fixed an issue preventing some log files from rolling over. This should help with the high disk space usage.
-
Fixed an issue preventing monitoring from starting after adding a device
-
Fixed a crash during installation that would occur when the firewall was disabled
-
The credentials used when adding a new server should now automatically assume the account is local unless a domain is specified
-
Fixed an issue that was causing SNMP data collection to time out
-
Added SNMP support for LAG interfaces
-
Fixed an issue gathering stats on Hyper-V virtual networks
-
Installations on a host that already have Network Monitor installed will now be blocked. This is because beta to beta upgrades are not supported. Please uninstall the existing installation and run the installer again.
Head over to the download page to grab this build and give it a shot. As always, please post back with your feedback and any bugs/issues you find.

Since late last week, my Beta 4 install has been in a constant state of loading. Never shows any device details. Related to new release at all? Would not think so, but who knows. Downloading now.
