I just saw the Spiceworks Remote Support by Zoho Assist.

I cannot tell too much from the page so far:

https://community.spiceworks.com/tools/remote-support/

Does anyone have real world experience with it?

Is it a short-term promo type free product, or is it like other typical Spiceworks products being free?

How does this compare to something like LogMeIn?

Thanks for any thoughts/references, and happy Thanksgiving!

The product is free but having used it, the product is limited to that session and it is not host based. You need to look it as fast remote support. I did not see any upload capabilities or remote command/powershell control.

I have used it a a few times and it works great. You just email a link, the end users downloads a small program and you are connected. So far good results.

We use ZOHO Assist for remote support, they allow you to re-brand the support web page.

Better than Logmein and Teamviewer

Thank you Adam and Paul.

Hello Stephen

I would restrict myself to just one query of yours since it’s a vendor reply.

It is a free remote support tool like other tools listed in Spiceworks Tools and it will remain free forever. It’s not short-term promo type. Feel free to use it and let us know your views.

Thanks for all the replies. I’ll close out the question for now. Definitely something I want to look into in the future.
