I have never heard of this before. You have to sign a waiver to eat some chicken. Ok, I guess it makes sense. The chicken is spiced with Carolina Reaper. 2 million Scoville units. I just, I mean just had a very small piece and it is on par if not hotter than Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin’ sauce.

If you order from Door Dash there is no waiver requirement.

BWW Blazins are the peppery equivalent of colonoscopy prep fluid … I love spicy foods (eat Thai Hot regularly) but will NEVER repeat the aftermath of eating a dozen of those things because PETA filed a complaint about abuse of a porcelain pony on me. I can’t wrap my head around voluntarily eating anything hotter than those things. Sweet Jesus …

I completely agree. I tried the blazin sauce on 6 boneless wings. That was enough for me.
I am thinking something would happen along the lines of Dumb and Dumber. If you remember. No thank you.

Their Wikipedia article describes Dave’s Hot Chicken as “an American fast casual restaurant chain specializing in Nashville-style hot chicken”, yet they have no locations in Tennessee, so that’s ironic. Looks like the closest one to me is a 200 mile drive. Full disclosure…I don’t see myself ordering the Reaper. Based on the article, I’d probably order a two piece tender with one hot and one extra hot, and see how that goes. Theirs actually a location around Birmingham that would only be a slight detour for the family next trip to see the in-laws. Maybe I can talk my wife and son into trying it (I forsee my wife ordering “medium” and my son ordering “hot”).

No thanks. My hubby does BWW Blazin’ on a regular basis and barely even gets a runny nose. Meanwhile, I’m on the other side nearly gagging just from the smell! :rofl::hot_pepper::rofl::hot_pepper:

I’ll have to add Dave’s to my list of places to try. I live in Reno and Crazy D’s Hot Chicken does a Carolina Reaper spice level. It’s really intense, but there was no waiver to sign when I went in October. It was also really tasty!

I enjoy spice but when the heat overpowers the ability to taste, that’s when I leave the chat. I will say that is a unique FAFO though… :grin:

Anyone in Austin or Houston go to Tumble 22? It’s a similar Nashville hot chicken place and the chicken is fantastic but ramps up in spice very quick. I cannot go higher than Mo’ Hot, which is 2 out of 5.
